I love reading books, mostly for personal development, self education, interesting ideas, opening my mind and potentially evolving in some kind of way.
Because most of the books I choose to read are to learn from them, I can take ages to get through one as I go back and forwards through chapters and take notes most of the time.
Since I discovered audio books, I can get through at least 1 book per month and I love it! If the book is super interesting I also purchase the hard copy as I love to keep them as life manuals, which I may even give away to someone who needs it :)
Some of my favourite books from my 2018 reading list are:
- Lost Connections by Johann Hari
A story and worldwide research about the different causes and cases of depression and ways to recovery that have nothing to do with drugs. Amazing eye opening information for those who suffer it and those who wish to understand it. A fresh and current way of looking at this incredible world issue.
- Breaking the habit of being yourself by Joe Dispenza
Ground breaking research and scientific explanation of what is reality, how do we create it and how to change what doesn't serve us. Practical exercises, meditations and sound information that will open your understanding of what we are as human beings and how far we can go. Fascinating.
- Becoming supernatural by Joe Dispenza
The continuation of the above, more mystical and explanation of how understanding quantum physics we have the ability to bend reality. Mind-blowing
- Mastery by Robert Greene
What is mastery and a practical guide on how to achieve it. How can we become masters at our lives and make the most of it. I love it, simple, engaging and inspiring to listen too our inner selves and have the discipline to follow on that inner guidance and work at always doing the best we can and being excellent.
- Being Yoga by Stuart Watkins
A personal journey to yoga, humble, inspiring and filled with love. What it means to discover yoga, what really is for a westerner, practical ideas and tips on how to be love, look after oneself and our environment (people, our home and nature). Beautifully written and fantastic photos that will take you on Stuart's journey step by step.

A new way of working and living life is developing and evolving, time for change and new thoughts, actions and bigger picture.
